Mayhem, the UK’s most entertaining horror and cult film festival, has announced that Early Bird passes are now available for the 12th edition of the festival this October.
Early Bird passes allow access to the full festival, which will take place at the Broadway Cinema, Nottingham on 13-16 October 2016. The passes are available for a limited period and cost just £60 for four days.
Last year’s festival saw, amongst the movies, a live stage presentation of the unfilmed Hammer movie The Unquenchable Thirst of Dracula – a triumph for all concerned. Who can say what they will top it with this year?
Mayhem is also calling for entries to their Scary Shorts slot, showcasing the best – or sometimes the most eccentric – new short films in the genre. There is no fee for submissions, and programmers for the festival are accepting local, national and international entries.
Filmmakers can submit their entry for free until midnight on Friday 19 August. To submit your short film, please email Melissa Gueneau at mayhemfilmfest@gmail.com
Mayhem has also just launched a much-needed new website as part of its ongoing efforts to improve the customer experience, by creating an easy-to-navigate space to find out key information about the festival and its programme, as well as book tickets and passes for upcoming events.
