Adapted from Deborah Harkness’ best-selling trilogy of novels, A DISCOVERY OF WITCHES is a bold and romantic thriller that uncovers a secret underworld of extraordinary beings hiding in plain sight for fear of persecution by humans - they are vampires, witches and daemons.

Brilliant historian Diana Bishop (Teresa Palmer) is a witch denying her own heritage. But when she unexpectedly opens an ancient, bewitched manuscript from Oxford’s Bodleian library, she finds herself thrown into the heart of a dangerous mystery, and into the path of the enigmatic geneticist and vampire Matthew Clairmont (Matthew Goode).

Matthew is driven to solve the looming threat of the creatures’ decline, but their unlikely alliance to find the book before it falls into the wrong hands - and their deepening relationship - threatens to violate age-old taboos and shake the fragile peace that exists between the species.

In the long-awaited third and final series, Matthew and Diana return from their trip to 1590 to find tragedy at Sept-Tours. They must find the missing pages from the Book of Life and the Book itself before it’s too late. Their enemies are gearing up against them, and a monster from Matthew’s past who has been lying in wait will return for revenge.

But all is not as it seems, and Rhys’ moralistic misadventures are much more macabre than he knows...

Listen carefully when Arrow warns you... DON’T GO IN THE HOUSE

A legendary title from the Video Nasties era, Joseph Ellison’s relentlessly bleak and disturbing DON’T GO IN THE HOUSE, the film that dares to ask “What if Norman Bates had a flamethrower?” is out now on Limited Edition Blu-ray - and marks the first Arrow Video to include audio descriptions for the visually impaired.

Don't Go In The House - Audio Description from FetchFilm on Vimeo.

Matt Jarman, who did the AD at Bad Princess Productions, says the film was “a perfect candidate for audio description as it doesn't move too quickly, get overloaded with visual information or feature a great deal of dialogue. It is a mid-paced portrait of a character's descent into madness where the house itself is one of the main characters. It was a pleasure to describe as there was plenty of room to add descriptive details about the house without the description becoming too intense or wordy. I hope the visually impaired community will enjoy this film and the audio description as much as I did making it.” Sigrid Larsen, from The Engine House Media Services (that does post production for Arrow) says she’s "excited to add a video nasty to our library of audio descriptions!”

The film has lost none of its power to shock in the decades since it was first censored by the BBFC and seized by UK authorities. Now fully uncut and making its UK high definition premiere in a brand new 2K restoration, the film, starring The Sopranos’ Dan Grimaldi in a gripping central performance, is back in a definitive collectors’ edition with both original and extended versions, as well as brand new commentaries, featurettes, a poster and booklet. There is also an exclusive Arrow Store 3-disc Video Nasty Edition, that includes a Limited edition O-card featuring original “video nasty” VHS artwork, and Cinema and VHS-mode viewing options.

Synopsis: Donny Kohler (The Sopranos’ Dan Grimaldi in a gripping central performance), a disturbed loner unhealthily obsessed with fire, comes home from his factory job one day to find his abusive mother has died. Now all alone in the large Gothic mansion he calls home and consumed in an inferno of insanity, he is finally able to fulfill his violent revenge fantasies against her. Soon, any woman unlucky enough to enter is forced to come face to face with the worst fate imaginable in the secret steel-clad chamber of death he has built in the house’s depths…

Step Through "THE DARK DOOR", If You Dare...

THE DARK DOOR is a brand new horror fiction zine which collects fiction, editorials, poetry, artwork and music, via QR codes, into a nearly 80-page zine, modelled after traditional 70’s and 80’s pulp horror fiction zines.

This new publication has licensed works from some of the most talented up-and-coming authors, artists and musicians from around the internet to put together a collection of material of a very high standard. The intention is to publish future issues on an ongoing basis, of 3-4 issues annually.

This is a rather unique publication in today’s market, which aims to break into the untapped desire for these sort of dark materials.

THE DARK DOOR can be found on the Ill Advised Records web shop at:

Individual copies are only $10, and subscriptions for the next four issues are $35.

NIGHT'S END - Debuts on Shudder March

Shudder, AMC Networks’ premium streaming service for horror, thriller and the supernatural announced today the release for Jennifer Reeder’s upcoming film Night’s End starring Geno Walker (South Side, Chicago Fire), Kate Arrington (Mare of Easttown, Ray Donovan), Felonious Munk (For Life, Block Party) and Michael Shannon (Knives Out, Nine Perfect Strangers). A Shudder Original Film, Night’s End is set for release in North America, Australia, New Zealand, the United Kingdom and Ireland on Thursday, March 31.

“Jennifer Reeder is an exciting and bold filmmaker who was an integral part of V/H/S/94, Shudder’s most watched movie ever,” said Craig Engler, general manager of Shudder. “Night’s End is eerie but human, sharply written and sure to surprise our members this March.”
Said Jennifer Reeder, “As a longtime Shudder fan, I am deeply honored to now be part of the Shudder fam! I've made two Shudder films this year, which feels like a dream (although both films play out more like nightmares). Throughout the process of making these films with Shudder, I have felt enormously supported and my creative vision protected and amplified. Shudder cares as much about filmmakers as they do about films which is a rare and coveted combination.”
In Night’s End, an anxious shut-in unwittingly moves into a haunted apartment and hires a mysterious stranger to perform an exorcism which takes a horrific turn. The film also stars Lawrence Grimm (Chicago Med), Daniel Kyri (Chicago Fire), Theo Germaine (The Politician) and Morgan Reesh (Blood Below the Skin).
Written by Brett Nevue, Night’s End is an Original Shudder Production in association with Crow Island Films and Institutional Quality Production. The film is produced by Neal Edelstein, Nevue and David E. Tolchinsky and executive produced by Reeder and Shudder’s Emily Gotto.
