The London Horror Society is delighted to announce the launch of a new in-person short horror film screening event, The Indie Film Showcase.
The London Horror Society has been dedicated to supporting grassroots horror cinema for over 7 years, and we're so proud to have well over 1,300 committed horror fans and filmmakers in our ranks.
We have launched the Indie Film Showcase to do what we love best -- bringing incredible short genre films from hugely talented filmmakers, to the wonderfully supportive UK horror community.
We hope to welcome as many loyal fans of indie horror through the doors as possible for an evening of fun, meeting new friends, networking, and of course -- over 2 solid hours of incredible short films.
Founder of The London Horror Society Chris Nials said:
“We are so pleased to be able to finally bring back our in-person screening events, and our team have been working so hard in the background to ensure we’re able to do this safely. And I’d like to personally thank the team at the Hen and Chickens for accommodating us.
The selection team and I are now really looking forward to watching all of the submissions that come in, and can’t wait to see everyone on the 6th March. It’s been far too long!”
Submissions for films is now open via Film Freeway and will close on February 11th.
Tickets will go on general sale at the beginning of February.
