Mark Mallman recently got in touch to tell us about his new horror themed music video "Monster Movies".
In this, a troubled musician finds himself kidnapped and transformed into a fire breathing Medusa. Now his only hope for survival is to lead his band of disco mummies though a macabre tribute to late 70s Glam.
“The goal was to make a song that could have been a hit in 1977, like a lost single. It felt important to make a video that reflected the campy sentiment of scary drive in movies.” He says.
His music/art experiments and retro-70s style has rocked the airwaves of countless radio and media outlets, as well as being written about by Rolling Stone, Pitchfork, USA Today, Wired, NME, The Toronto Star, Chicago Sun-Times, the Denver Post and so on. Mallman continues, "Now all I gotta do is invent a flux capacitor time machine, and start saving for a Delorean.”
