THE DEVIL'S HOUR - Launches October 28th on Prime Video

Lucy Chambers (Jessica Raine - Becoming Elizabeth) wakes up every night at exactly 3:33am. Her eight-year-old son, Isaac, is withdrawn and emotionless. Her mother, Sylvia, speaks to empty chairs. Her house is haunted by the echoes of a life that isn’t her own, and nothing has made sense for a long time.

Having recently separated from her husband, Mike, Lucy has made a new start in a new town. When she’s not taking care of her mother or trying to solve the puzzle of her son’s unique personality disorder, she’s struggling to manage the caseload of an overstretched children’s services team.

Lucy has spent so long taking care of other people that she has forgotten how to take care of herself. Only in the silence of the devil’s hour – while she lies in bed reflecting on disturbing dreams – is she forced to consider her own deteriorating mental state. The strange sense of déjà vu that has haunted her since childhood is now manifesting in visions of a violent future – waking nightmares she has never understood but can no longer ignore.

Meanwhile, DI Ravi Dhillon (Nikesh Patel - Starstruck) is investigating a string of brutal murders in the area that might connect to a high-profile cold case from ten years ago. Intelligent, sensitive and unsettled by the sight of blood, Dhillon is the right man in the wrong job. When Lucy’s name is linked to his case in a most unusual way, the two strangers must learn to trust each other as they confront every dark impossibility their suspect can throw at them.

Lucy might think this is the worst thing she has ever experienced, but this is only the beginning. A long and dangerous path lies ahead of her. Somehow, she knows this already. And if she can only see beyond the confines of her perceived reality, the answers that have been evading her all these years will finally come into focus.

Also starring Peter Capaldi (Dr Who, The Suicide Squad), and Phil Dunster (Strike Back), THE DEVIL'S HOUR launches exclusively on Prime Video on October 28th.
