"The Asylum" comes to UK disc this May

From director Marcus Nispel (The Texas Chainsaw Massacre, Friday The 13th remakes) and the producers of Paranormal Activity and Insidious comes this gore-filled supernatural story of sex, drugs, and rock ‘n’ roll possession!

 

When a group of teens party in an abandoned building with a dark history, they find an old vinyl record that unleashes a dark spirit when played backwards. But is there something even more horrific and terrifying in their midst?

 

Starring Stephen Lang (Avatar), Kelly Blatz (Prom Night), and Brittany Curan (The Uninvited), "The Asylum" is a genre-busting evolution in teen horror. Having cut his teeth in big-name horror franchises, Marcus Nispel plays on the genre’s tropes to create something altogether new with "The Asylum". Bringing together the slasher, the supernatural, and the urban myth. That’s not to say it doesn’t deliver to what horror fans love most – scares, gore and nerve-shredding tension!
