In the depths of the forest, The Pastor's daughter, Magpie, takes desperate action, ending the life of her abusive husband. Little does she know, his murder will unleash a malevolent force - a mysterious beast with shimmering white eyes.
THE SEVERED SUN is the feature debut of writer/director Dean Puckett, whose short films The Sermon, The Devil’s Footprints and Satan’s Bite have screened at festivals including BFI Flare, Sitges and FrightFest.
It stars Emma Appleton (Traitors, LOLA), Toby Stephens (Black Sails, Lost in Space) and Jodhi May (The Witcher, Gentleman Jack).
