"MAGIC" the 1978 horror classic arrives on UK BD March

SECOND SIGHT sprinkles its Magic on Anthony Hopkins’ 1978 horror classic with its first UK Blu-ray release set to arrive this March with a host of brilliant special features.

With the continuing popularity of creepy dolls on screen from Hugo to Annabel via the many incarnations of Chucky, we meet one of the original devilish dummies: Fats…the side-kick from hell.

Corky (Hopkins – The Silence of the Lambs, The Two Popes) is a shy magician who just can’t get a break, but when he introduces foul-mouthed ventriloquist doll, Fats, to his act, his star begins to rise. With the chance of hitting the big time finally on the cards, the pressure starts to get to him.

In a panic Corky flees the big city, returning to the security of his hometown. When he reunites with old high school flame Peggy (Ann-Margret – Tommy, Grumpy Old Men), love could be in the air. But Fats doesn’t approve and he’s about to create carnage. Who’s really pulling the strings?

ZOMBIELAND: DOUBLE TAP - Coming to UK Disc and Digital February

Remember to limber up and beware of bathrooms, as Woody Harrelson (Venom), Jesse Eisenberg (The Social Network), Abigail Breslin (“Scream Queens”) and Emma Stone (La La Land) return to the United States of Zombieland ten years after their first undead adventure for Ruben Fleischer’s long-awaited ZOMBIELAND: DOUBLE TAP available on Digital and Disc this February.

Experience an all-new adventure with some of your favourite zombie apocalypse survivors, as well as newcomers Rosario Dawson (TV’s “The Defenders”), Zoey Deutch (TV’s “The Politician”), Luke Wilson (Old School), Avan Jogia (Shaft), and Thomas Middleditch (TV’s “Silicon Valley”).

Set one decade after the events of the first film, ZOMBIELAND: DOUBLE TAP finds Tallahassee (Woody Harrelson), Columbus (Jesse Eisenberg), Little Rock (Abigail Breslin), and Wichita (Emma Stone) working together as a well-oiled, zombie-killing machine with a new home in the now-vacant White House. These four slayers must face off against the many new kinds of zombies that have evolved since the first movie, as well as some new human survivors. But most of all, they have to face the growing pains of their own snarky, makeshift family.

In addition to the film’s on-screen reunion, ZOMBIELAND: DOUBLE TAP brings back several fan-favourites behind the camera as well. Director Ruben Fleischer returns to the Zombieland universe after the blockbuster debut of Venom in 2018, directing a script penned by original Zombieland screenwriters Rhett Reese and Paul Wernick, in addition to Dave Callaham, solidifying ZOMBIELAND: DOUBLE TAP as an event ten years in the making.

Blu-ray™ bonus exclusive materials for ZOMBIELAND: DOUBLE TAP include extended bloopers and outtakes, alternative and extended scenes and along with the DVD also includes an audio commentary by Ruben Fleischer and more!

4K Ultra HDTM / Blu-ray Bonus Features:

Extended Bloopers & Outtakes.

Alternate & Extended Scenes
“The Beast is Gone”: Tragedy falls upon Tallahassee.
“Van Ride”: A vehicle says a lot about a person.
“Would Have Never Met”: Wichita and Columbus discuss what their lives would have been like if not for the zombie apocalypse.
“In Bed”: Tallahassee’s still got it!
“Breakfast at Babylon”: Cruelty-free breakfast and conversation.
“Car Ride”: Road trips were made for family bonding.
“Melting Gun”: Tallahassee says goodbye to another friend.
“There’s a Party Tonight”: I don’t want to hang out with a bunch of hippies.
“Alternate Proposal”: Love is the perfect mix of cool and uncool.

“The Doppelgangers”: From stunts to special effects, this in-depth piece breaks down doppelgangers Flagstaff and Albuquerque and comes complete with interviews, demonstrations, and multiple cameras to snag all the action in their wild scenes.

“A Day with Bill Murray” featurette.

4K Ultra HD, Blu-ray, DVD and Digital Bonus Features

“The Rides of Zombieland”: From the Beast to Big Fat Death (and a hated Pontiac Trans Sport in between) this short focuses on the rides that get our main characters around Z-land.
“Rules of Making a Zombie Film”: It takes a lot of rules and a lot of people to make a zombie film!
“Making Babylon”: Explore the climactic third act location in the film known in Zombieland as Babylon. Part fortress, part freshman dormitory, Babylon is the safe-place for a generation of misguided peace-loving retro-hippies.
“New Blood”: Rosario Dawson, Zoey Deutch, and Avan Jogia join our zombie-slaying cast.
Commentary with Director Ruben Fleischer

A SERIAL KILLER'S GUIDE TO LIFE - A Review

“Thelma and Louise” meets “Sightseers” in the darkly humoured horror comedy “A Serial Killer’s Guide to Life”, which comes to digital outlets this month from Arrow films.

30 year old singleton Lou (Katie Brayben) is stuck in a dead end job, working in an ice cream shop in a seaside town. Still living at home with her overbearing mother, she’s become addicted to self-help books and audio guides, hoping they’ll show her a way out of her meaningless existence.

So when she meets a self-styled self-help guru named Val (Poppy Roe), who invites her along on a road trip, visiting various alternate self-development centres, she jumps at the chance.

But, it seems Val isn’t who she appears to be, as every place they visit, she leaves a trail of dead bodies in their wake. Seems Val is actually a serial killer, and Lou is now her unwitting sidekick, as they travel around bumping off the folk at the various hipster communes they visit.

Sporting a wicked streak of dark humour, and some amusing kill scenes, the film is perhaps a little slow in places, but proved a hit on the festival circuit. If you’re a fan of Sightseers, you’ll probably enjoy it.

The film is released to Digital outlets in the UK, as well as the US ans Canada, January 13th.
