"LOVE CAMP 7" comes to US BD and DVD

US cult movie distributer Blue Underground have announced they will be releasing former "video nasty" title LOVE CAMP 7 to Blu-Ray and DVD in the US next year.

The release will be a 4k scan taken from the recently discovered original camera negatives.

Directed by Lee Frost, this 1969 nazi-spoitation title concerns the exploits of two US female army agents, who go undercover at a Nazi prison camp to get information from a scientist held there. Only for their escape attempt to go awry and end up getting subjected to the same unleasantries as the other inmates.

Considered controversial in its day, the film gained notoriety in the UK after being banned as a video nasty in the early 80s. The film was also rejected by the BBFC for a DVD release in 2002.

Up until now, the only way to see this has been a DVDr release, only available through the Something Wierd Video website, or on a long out of print grey market DVD which was released in Holland. Making this an eagerly anticipated release for collectors of former video nasty titles.
