Second Sight Films brings the chills Norwegian style as COLD PREY TRILOGY is the latest classic horror collection to get the Limited Edition Blu-ray Box Set treatment this July, complete with the obligatory outstanding slew of special features.

The must-have collector’s set is presented in a stunning slip case with brand new artwork and spectacular special features including new interviews and commentaries with cast and filmmakers, a 120-page book full of new essays and much more and is released on 6 July 2026. For years many people have disappeared in the Norwegian mountains, were they unfortunate accidents or is there something far more sinister lurking in the snow?

In COLD PREY (Fritt Vilt) from director Roar Uthaug (Tomb Raider, Troll) we’re introduced to five friends – Jannicke, her boyfriend Eirik and friends, Mikal, Ingunn and Morten – who head to the mountains of Jotunheimen, for a fun-filled snowboarding trip. But when Tobias falls and breaks his leg, they find themselves cut off with no phone reception and seek refuge in an abandoned building, to wait for help.

Little do they know, a mysterious, brutal serial killer known as the Mountain Man stalks the snow-covered landscape in search of victims and when the slasher finds them, it’s murderous mayhem in the mountains. Will any of them make it out alive?

Mats Stenberg’s chilling sequel COLD PREY II follows on from the fear-filled first feature and Mikkel Brænne Sandemose’s COLD PREY III takes us to the 1980s where a group of teenagers visit an abandoned hotel in the Norwegian woods and find themselves hunted by the psychotic chiller killer.

Robert Englund and Richard Brake appear in PINOCCHIO: UNSTRUNG - In UK Cinemas, July

Altitude Entertainment is thrilled to announce PINOCCHIO: UNSTRUNG will be unleashed in UK cinemas from 24th July.  Set to have its UK Premiere in June at this year's Raindance Film Festival, where it's been nominated for four awards, including Best UK Feature and Best Performance in a UK Feature for Richard Brake, the feature is a frightening new take on Carlo Collodi’s classic novel The Adventures of Pinocchio. 

The latest addition to the Twisted Childhood Universe films (Winnie-the-Pooh: Blood and Honey), PINOCCHIO: UNSTRUNG. Geppetto (Richard Brake) introduces his grandson, James, to a magical doll called Pinocchio. Unaware of his naïve nature, James introduces his new friend to the world, resulting in the doll going on a crusade to eliminate all things bad under the guidance of the sinister Cricket (Robert Englund).

From writer and director Rhys Frake-Waterfield (Winnie the Pooh: Blood and Honey) and producer Scott Chambers (Bambi: The Reckoning, Peter Pan's Neverland Nightmare), PINOCCHIO: UNSTRUNG stars Richard Brake (Barbarian), Robert Englund (A Nightmare on Elm Street) and Cameron Bell in his feature debut. 

PINOCCHIO: UNSTRUNG is the latest addition to the Twisted Childhood Universe, which includes Winnie-the-Pooh: Blood and Honey and its sequel, Peter Pan’s Neverland Nightmare, and Bambi: The Reckoning.

BloodStream Releases Found-Footage Slasher Series GAME

As announced by Fangoria, BloodStream acquired exclusive distribution rights to GAME001, GAME002, GAME003, GAME004, and GAME005, a graphic horror film series directed by the anonymous filmmaker known as Playgame Tipplayer, whose concealed identity mirrors the brutality and anonymity embedded in the series itself.

All five films will debut on June 1, 2026, exclusively on BloodStream as a subscription-only release, before expanding to additional platforms on August 1, 2026.

"BloodStream is committed to releasing violent, uncompromising, forward-thinking new films that aren’t available anywhere else," says BloodStream Programmer Heidi Honeycutt. "We want to push boundaries, and the GAME series is another step in that direction. I hope horror fans appreciate access to something this gruesome and unapologetically exploitative."

Anyone can wear the mask. I just never take mine off. You think you’re watching me, but I’m watching you. Nothing is real. And even if you think it is, how would you ever know? It’s all content. At least we know we’re playing the game.

Playgame Tipplayer is the anonymous filmmaker credited solely with the GAME franchise, though no verified record of their existence has ever been found. Online speculation describes them as everything from a failed content creator to a collective identity used by multiple people hiding behind a single name. Their work obsessively explores performance, surveillance, clout, identity, and the psychological collapse of living as permanent content for invisible audiences. Whether Tipplayer is an artist, a troll, a myth, or simply another player inside the GAME itself remains unresolved.

The GAME series drops viewers into a fractured slasher scenario built around two female hikers who encounter a masked killer in a remote forest. The perspective shifts across victims, perpetrators, and recorded viewpoints, folding acts of filming, sharing, clout building, and watching directly into the violence itself, and the reason any of the films seem to exist.

Blending widescreen footage with vertical phone video and distorted lens imagery, the series creates a disorienting visual field where everyone is a “subject”. The result is a relentless loop of performance and consumption.

The GAME movies contain intense violence, strong language, and nudity, and are intended for adult audiences.
