THE TERROR: DEVIL IN SILVER - Coming to Digital and Disc

With two highly acclaimed series under its belt, THE TERROR returns to our screens for its third thrilling outing, so prepare for scares with THE TERROR: DEVIL IN SILVER when it arrives in a stunning Blu-ray and DVD release on 5 October 2026, as well as available to download and own from 28 September 2026 thanks to Acorn Media International, following its transmission on Sky.

Based on Victor LaValle’s best-selling book and adapted by the writer himself alongside Chris Cantwell, THE TERROR: DEVIL IN SILVER boasts film maestro Ridley Scott as its executive producer. Internationally acclaimed British acting sensation Dan Stevens (The Guest, Downton Abbey, Beauty and the Beast) takes the lead in an awe-inspiring turn as a psychiatric patient who must face not only his own demons but possibly one of the most sinister entities known to man.

The series also features a stellar supporting cast including Judith Light (Before, Out of My Mind), CCH Pounder (Rustin, NCIS: New Orleans), Aasif Mandvi (Evil, This Way Up), John Benjamin Hickey (The Big C, Lilly), Stephen Root (Barry, Heads of State), Michael Aronov (The Americans, Operation Finale), Marin Ireland (Sneaky Pete, Glass Chin), Chinaza Uche (Silo, A Good Person) and Hampton Fluker (Shades of Blue, Instant Family).

Pepper (Stevens) is a working-class removal man who, through a combination of bad luck and a bad temper, finds himself wrongfully committed to New Hyde Psychiatric Hospital – an institution filled with the people society would rather forget.

There, he must contend with patients who work against him, doctors who harbour grim secrets and perhaps even the Devil himself. As Pepper navigates a hellscape where nothing is as it seems, he finds that the only path to freedom is to face down the entity that thrives on the suffering within the hospital walls – but doing so may prove that the worst demons of all live inside him.

Beware THE TERROR: DEVIL IN SILVER as it takes hold and never lets go. This remarkable, stunningly shot new series has been lauded by Nerds That Geek as ‘one of the most dynamic and intelligent horror anthology shows to hit the airwaves in recent years… hands down the show’s best season to date’ and is a must-own release to add to your physical media collection.

And talking of collecting, be sure to add THE TERROR and THE TERROR: INFAMY – the internationally acclaimed first two series – available now in THE TERROR: SERIES 1 & 2 Box Set on Blu-ray, DVD and on demand.

AD UMBRAS: First Details and Images from Antony Coia's Cosmic Horror

The first details and images from AD UMBRAS have been revealed. The short film marks the directorial debut of Antony Coia, composer and founder of  TetroVideo, Goredrome Pictures and Outronox.

Production on AD UMBRAS officially began on August 5, 2026, and is currently underway, with post-production scheduled to begin in September 2026.

The film blends cosmic horror with the atmosphere of Italian Gothic cinema, Lovecraftian horror, and the hallucinatory cosmic visions associated with the cinema of Panos Cosmatos. The story takes place entirely within a cemetery, creating a dark, oppressive, and otherworldly atmosphere, accompanied by a strong dose of gore and a massive presence of zombies, firmly in keeping with the spirit of old-school horror.

The original score, composed by Coia himself, will follow the same direction and will be created using analog instruments, primarily large analog synthesizers and electric guitars, drawing on the tradition of synth-driven horror soundtracks associated with filmmakers and composers such as John Carpenter.

Speaking about the project, Coia said: “I'm doing everything I can to make AD UMBRAS a directorial debut I can truly be proud of, and so far I'm extremely satisfied with the results. The atmosphere we're creating is absolutely insane, dark, oppressive, and deeply cinematic, and I believe old-school horror fans are going to love it”.

Thanks to the development of OTX.LAB's internal production system, which is now capable of delivering a high level of quality and reliability, AD UMBRAS is being developed as a fully fledged film production, with visual standards in line with professional productions.

The film is being created entirely through artificial intelligence using a fully local production system based on privately managed hardware and proprietary resources dedicated to the project. The entire process takes place without relying on data centers, external AI services, or third-party cloud platforms.

AI serves solely as a filmmaking tool, while every creative and production aspect (from the screenplay and direction to the visual choices, editing, sound design, and music) remains under direct human control.

A crowdfunding campaign is also planned for those who would like to support and contribute to the production of AD UMBRAS.

More details will be revealed soon.

The Horror Collective, the genre label of Studio Dome, will release the acclaimed psychological horror thriller THE OTHER PEOPLE, the directorial debut of Chad McClarnon from a script written with his brother Trey, on digital platforms September 15. September Horrors and Thrillers coming to Digital from Trinity Entertainment

Trinity Content Partners is delighted to announce the UK Digital premiere of seven acclaimed horrors and thrillers set to arrive this September.

HERESY

Salvation can be found in the darkest of places in Heresy, Didier Konings’ (Thor: Love and Thunder, Kingdom of the Planet of the Apes) lauded folk horror fable, that’s steeped in religious terror and repression and has drawn comparisons to Robert Eggers’ The Witch.

Garnering praise galore on its festival run Heresy is now set to make its highly anticipated UK digital debut on 28 September, courtesy of GrimmVision.

In a small Dutch village in the Dark Ages, Frieda (Anneke Sluiters) attempts to be a good wife, contributing to her community, saying her prayers, focusing on becoming a mother and doing what is expected of her.

But after a traumatic encounter with one of the villagers in the woods, a presence saves Frieda’s life, latching itself onto her and throwing her belief system into question. Returning from the woods unscathed, her community becomes suspicious that it was not God who brought her back safely, but a dark force cloaked in fog that lurks beyond the forest.

As the otherworldly creature follows Frieda, strange things start to occur in the village, and Frieda is accused of witchcraft. As she tries to defend herself, her rage only grows and her family and friends turn their backs on her in the name of God.

HERESY is a haunting tale of misogyny, bodily autonomy and belief that transcends time and language, wound into an unmissable, gut-wrenching, ‘stellar psychedelic folk horror’ (Dread Central).

LENORE

Descend into parasocial madness with Lenore – a twisted cyber gothic tale of obsession, disassociation and male fantasy.

Australian writer-director David Ward explores the darkest corners of the internet in his acclaimed feature debut, putting a 21st century twist on Edgar Allan Poe’s famed poem of the same name. Following its acclaimed run on the festival circuit, Lenore is set to arrive on UK digital 21 September, courtesy of Seven Tales.

The film follows Max Wren (Nicholas Jaquinot – One Punch, Discontent), a troubled and isolated man who attempts to uncover the fate of Lenore (Ruby Duncan – Incoming: Words of War, Glitch) – a highly popular, yet deeply controversial, online personality who has seemingly disappeared. However, before he can complete his magnum opus, Max must confront a domineering antagonist from his past, two nosy police officers who have been tipped off about his antisocial behaviour and most concerning of all: a malevolent spirit that seems to live within his grotesque editing suite.

As he is propelled through the night, Max’s desperation curdles into madness and when the truth behind Lenore’s life and disappearance come to light, Max’s own sins can no longer stay buried as he discovers that some things are better left hidden behind a screen.

Blending atmospheric tension with emotional depth, Lenore is a haunting psychological chiller exploring grief and infatuation, highlighting how our own sense of self can be warped by our obsession with online identities and digital spaces, and just how dangerous these strange, new parasocial relationships can be.

Psychological horror CHILD - In UK Cinemas, October

Cynefilms is proud to announce that its compelling mystery suspense thriller CHILD, directed by Oscar nominee Cyrus Neshvad, will be released in UK cinemas from 2nd October.

With their young son running out of time, Anne and Greg are willing to sacrifice everything for one last chance to save him. But after crossing an unforgivable moral line, they find themselves trapped in a nightmare where every choice demands an even greater price.

CHILD had its World Premiere in the First Feature strand of the 2026 Raindance Film Festival, where it was nominated for the Discovery Award for Best Debut Feature. Following in the tradition of elevated horror that has redefined the genre in recent years, Child uses horror not as spectacle, but as the sharpest possible lens through which to explore a parent’s worst fear.

Early reactions from the festival praised the film’s unrelenting atmosphere and moral bleakness, with reviews from outlets including Filmhounds Magazine and Warped Perspective.

Filmhounds Magazine awarded the film four stars, praising how “Neshvad pushes the boundaries of horror cinema focused on grief, love, and desperation with this twisty, unpredictable, fantastical horror” whilst Warped Perspective added that “child works effectively on its own terms, keeping a very humane, character-focused approach throughout its bizarre literal and metaphorical journey.”

CHILD stars César Award winner Malik Zidi (Oxygen), Brigitte Urhausen (Fils), Lydia Indjova (Sunny Beach), Anne Klein (The Roaming) and Dmytro Yaroshenko (L'été de Jahia).

Hammer presents ITHAQUA - World Premiere at FrightFest, ahead of it's UK cinema release!

Hammer presents ITHAQUA, a gripping new survival horror receiving its World Premiere at FrightFest London on 29th August, and coming soon to UK cinemas!

Synopsis:
As a brutal winter grips the Canadian wilderness and the fur trade begins its collapse, the isolated inhabitants of a remote trading outpost enlist Cole Franklin, an American mercenary haunted by his past, to investigate the silence that has fallen over a nearby Indigenous settlement. What he discovers is a scene of unimaginable terror and an overwhelming sense that something ancient and unnatural still lingers in the wilderness.

As fear spreads back to Fort William, an unseen presence begins to take hold. Paranoia, hunger and violence consume the isolated community, driving neighbour against neighbour as reason gives way to madness. With the fort descending into chaos and survival hanging by a thread, Cole must draw upon his military experience to lead a desperate band of survivors against a force that cannot easily be understood - or escaped.

Written and directed by David Kittredge, BOORMAN AND THE DEVIL premiered at Venice International Festival before screening at festivals around the world including Beyond Fest and FrightFest Glasgow.
