MAN FINDS TAPE - released to Digital, January

Vertigo Releasing is excited to announce the digital release of MAN FINDS TAPE, the mysterious and supernatural horror film from award-nominated Austin-based filmmakers Peter Hall and Paul Gandersman, following its world premiere at the Tribeca Film Festival.

After the success of their debut novel, THE DEAD FRIENDS SOCIETY, Hall and Gandersman challenged themselves as directors with their first directorial feature, MAN FINDS TAPE, a fictional documentary that pulls in a series of strange and unexplainable video clips. 

Bringing their producing background to the forefront, the duo collaborated with Justin Benson, Aaron Moorhead, and David Lawson Jr. of Rustic Films - producers of THE ENDLESS and SYNCHRONIC, shaping the true horror into a modern monster movie.

Austin native Kelsey Pribilski made her Tribeca debut, stars alongside William Magnuson, John Gholson, Brian Villalobos, and Nell Kessler. The title unfolds as a brother and sister’s documentary investigation into disturbing footage that reveals a haunting secret that’s been eating away at a small Texas town.

MAN FINDS TAPE follows documentarian Lynn Page (Pribilski), who returns to her small Texas hometown after receiving a cryptic call to investigate haunting footage of events no one can remember taking place. But her brother Lucas’ (Magnuson) controversial past with a viral web series called ‘Man Finds Tape’ forces Lynn to question if he, or anyone in their town, can be trusted. And the arrival of a stranger with chaotic intentions forces Lynn to confront her family’s involvement with the deadly monster preying on Larkin, TX.

Festival favourite SUPER HAPPY FUN CLOWN - Streaming exclusively on Bloodstream, January

The Horror Collective announced today that the acclaimed festival slasher SUPER HAPPY FUN CLOWN, directed by Patrick Rea, will premiere exclusively on BloodStream beginning January 1. The film arrives on the service following a strong reception at Panic Fest and FrightFest, where audiences praised its blend of dark comedy, practical gore, and a standout performance from Jennifer Seward.

SUPER HAPPY FUN CLOWN follows Jennifer, a once-celebrated child prodigy who now performs as Jenn-O the Clown. During a chaotic Halloween night, she channels the personas of classic movie monsters and notorious serial killers, transforming a simple side hustle into a night of catharsis, confrontation, and escalating carnage. Written and produced by Eric Winkler, with Patrick Rea also serving as producer, the film continues the creative collaboration that powered their previous genre successes.

Cast unveiled for Eli Roth's chilling new film ICE CREAM MAN

The Horror Section, a media company focused on creating the world’s premier genre brand, have announced the cast of horror auteur Eli Roth’s chilling new film ICE CREAM MAN. The film stars Ari Millen (Orphan Black) as the titular character, along with Benjamin Byron Davis (Guardians of the Galaxy 3), Karen Cliche (Thanksgiving), Dylan Hawco (Heartland), Sarah Abbott (Black Mirror, Netflix’ The Body), Shiloh O’Reilly (Thanksgiving), Kiori Mirza Waldman, Charlie Zeltzer (The Handmaid's Tale), and Charlie Storey (Thanksgiving).

Rounding out the cast is Roth himself, the visionary behind the Cabin Fever franchise, the Hostel franchise, and Thanksgiving, among many other cult classics. Along with directing and producing the film, Roth also wrote the script with longtime collaborator Noah Belson, which generated significant buzz at its Cannes market debut, selling out nearly the entire world. Media Capital Technologies’ (MCT) Christopher Woodrow and Raj Singh also produced alongside Cream Productions’ Kate Harrison. 

Executive producers include MCT’s Kevin Frakes, Connor DiGregorio, Eli Massillon, and Lorenzo Antonucci, and The Horror Section’s Jon Schnaars and Holly Adams. ICE CREAM MAN follows an idyllic summer town descending into madness when an ice cream man serves kids sweet delights with horrifying results. The film wrapped principal photography in September and is scheduled for a wide theatrical release in 2026.

Hammer Thriller FEAR IN THE NIGHT - Worldwide 4K Premiere

Following their hugely popular STUDIOCANAL 4K Collector Edition releases of THE HORROR OF FRANKENSTEIN and SCARS OF DRACULA, the Peter Cushing Hammer thriller FEAR IN THE NIGHT makes its worldwide 4K UHD debut on 9th February, with a superb brand new 4K restoration. GUY FAWKES: BLOOD AND FIRE - Coming Early 2026

In the vein of The Ninth Gate and The Da Vinci Code, GUY FAWKES: BLOOD AND FIRE blends historical horrors with present day terror and is currently in production and is set for release in early 2026 from Trinity Content. Shogun Films is planning a limited comic book series and a novelisation to support the release. 

Synopsis:
When an ancient mask is unearthed during excavations on a construction site it triggers a terrifying series of deaths by spontaneous combustion. An insurance investigator and a psychic medium must uncover the terrifying truth of an evil prophecy dating back hundreds of years and prevent the spirit of Guy Fawkes from opening a gateway to hell and ripping apart the fabric of time itself. 
 
The film directed by Benjamin David, is in production now and stars Jeanine Nerissa Sothcott, Charlie Woodward (grandson of Edward Woodward), Jonathan Oliver, Tony Sands, Pierse Stevens, Paul Preston with Paul Terry as Fawkes. Written by Dominic Philpot with Ross Yeandle as director of photography.

New extreme releases from TetroVideo and GoreDrome

Pre-orders are now open on the official TetroVideo and Goredrome websites for three extreme horror films, including Mors Omnia Solvit (2025), the Italian occult film presented by the extreme label together with DarkVeins Records.

 

The new releases also include the German extreme horror film Tanz Der Toten (2024) by Günther Brandl and the Brazilian horror film Domina Nocturna (2021) by Larissa Anzoategui.

 

The three films are available for pre-order until November 10, in a limited edition Mediabook (Cover A and Cover B) with slipcover, Blu-ray, booklet, and four cards.

 

The edition of Mors Omnia Solvit also includes the soundtrack CD by Mater A Clivis Imperat.

MORS OMNIA SOLVIT 

 

Produced and directed by Congrega Esoterica Padovana, Mors Omnia Solvit (aka “Frammenti – I Veneratori di Morte”) is a provocative film about Death and Satanism and is inspired by extreme cult films such as Nekromantik, Begotten, Der Todesking and Opera Mortem.

 

Mors Omnia Solvit reinterprets the classical myth of Persephone and Hades, exploring themes of love, death and alienation in a hopeless world where the line between eros and thanatos dissolves.

 

Set in contemporary society, the story features a young woman, a modern incarnation of Persephone, who lives an alienated life trapped in a desolate and oppressive environment. One day she meets a group of death worshippers, a sect led by Hades, who explores the limits of life and death through disturbing rituals and extreme visions.

 

Persephone will embrace her own dissolution, transcending any connection to reality, becoming one with the realm of the dead and thus twisting the original myth.

 

Mors Omnia Solvit stars Samael Von Martin, Vax Absent, Simòn Ferètro, The Nun, Niko Devotional, and Natalija Brankovic.

 

The soundtrack is by Mater A Clivis Imperat, the Italian metal band founded by Samael Von Martin himself, former guitarist and founder of the historic Black Metal band EVOL.

TANZ DER TOTEN

 

Inspired by Hammer classics, Tanz Der Toten is directed by and stars Günther Brandl (Memoria, Station 0), the lead actor in Necrophile Passion (2013).

 

The film mixes lycanthropy, vampirism, and the living dead and is rich in practical effects.

 

Synopsis: Bohemia, 19th century: the mutilated bodies of seven inhabitants of a remote village are found within a very short space of time. Suspicion falls on a mysterious stranger, a vampire, who recently arrived in the village. His presence, along with that of a werewolf, terrorizes the inhabitants of the entire village, who must defend themselves from the dangerous creatures of the night and the living dead.

 

The cast includes Günther Brandl, Monika Brandl, Melody Bayer, Daniel Kanter, Peter Eherer, Christina Schuder, Romy Brandl, Christian F. Siege, Florian Parzer, and Yvette Costeau.

DOMINA NOCTURNA

 

Directed by and starring Larissa Anzoategui (Astaroth) from a screenplay written by Ramiro Giroldo, Domina Nocturna is a Brazilian supernatural horror film about a young heroine haunted by visions of a vampire.

 

Inspired by expressionist aesthetics, the film is a tribute to the cinematic works of Jean Rollin and Jess Franco, as well as to the literary works of Lord Byron and Álvares de Azevedo.

 

Synopsis: while wandering through a dead city, Angelique is tormented by hallucinatory visions of a cruel vampire and the bizarre rituals of a group of Satan worshippers who seek to defy life.

 

Surrounded by evil, Angelique will embark on a disturbing journey into darkness, between horror and death.

 

Domina Nocturna features an all-female cast, including Nathália Borioli, Renata Cáceres, Mariane Lopes, Mera, Patricia Souza, Marina Velma, and Lorane Letteriello.
