Shy and looking for love, Mark quickly becomes smitten with the outgoing and mysterious Ash, who somehow, much to his surprise, reciprocates the attraction. Aimee wrote the script for CANNIBAL MUCKBANG while experiencing a period of disordered eating and ending toxic relationships. This disordered eating led her down a mukbang rabbit hole.
CANNIBAL MUCKBANG is a female-driven story directed, written, produced, and edited by women. Production took place in New York, New Jersey, and Florida with a small crew of indie filmmakers. A portion of the footage was shot on 8mm film.
