If you haven't booked your weekend break away for the end of October, then a word of caution about this particular B&B establishment. A rural retreat that might be murder to get to, but a real killer to return from...
Marc and Fred (Tom Bateman, Sean Teale) return to a B&B to bait its Christian owner, Josh (Paul McGann) who had previously opposed them sharing a bed. Marc and Fred’s return visit is set to be weekend of mischief but events take darker turn when Josh’s son reveals himself to be gay and another more imposing guest arrives, who seems to have something more sinister in mind.
If the Bates motel is fully booked, then this is the guest house for you. Directed with a touch of Hitchcockian suspense by Joe Ahearne (best known for Doctor Who, Apparitions, The Replacement), it stars Tom Bateman (Murder On The Orient Express [2017], TV’s Jekyll & Hyde, DaVinci’s Demons), Paul McGann (Withnail & I; Doctor Who), Sean Teale (TV’s Skins and Bryan Singers’ new The Gifted TV series) and Callum Woodhouse (The Durrells).
