Annabelle: Creation - Immersive horror experience opens in London...

Warner Bros Pictures and New Line Cinema invite you to brave the ultimate scare challenge of babysitting Annabelle, the demonic doll from James Wan’s The Conjuring universe, later this month.

The immersive horror experience, conjured up by some of the creative team behind David Copperfield and featuring actual props from the hotly anticipated new film Annabelle: Creation, opening in cinemas across the U.K. on 11th August, will combine magic effects, directional sound and immersive theatre to give visitors the fright of their lives. It has been brought to life in close consultation with the filmmakers, including director David F. Sandberg.

Taking place in a creepy, purpose-built Victorian mansion on the site of the Town Hall in Stratford, East London. Annabelle’s House promises to give guests the most nail-biting twenty minutes of their lives using fright techniques prepared especially for this challenge.

Participants will initially be asked to babysit a seemingly innocent eleven-year-old girl whilst exploring the set, which is filled with genuine props from Annabelle: Creation. But it won’t be long before the long-dormant demon inside the Annabelle doll, an unholy force intent on stealing human souls, comes to life and possesses the entire house. Additional frights are being kept under wraps for this unrivalled scare experience.

Annabelle’s House will open its doors to the public in East London for a limited time from 27th July following journalist and celebrity previews. It marks the release of Annabelle: Creation, a new chapter in the Conjuring universe, which lands at UK screens on 11th August.

Thrill seekers can now apply for tickets at the Warner Bros website

The experience lasts 20 minutes and is very much not for the faint of heart.

Andrew Getty's "THE EVIL WITHIN" arrives on UK Disc September!

Fifteen, painstaking years in the making, The Evil Within has earned notoriety not just for its shocking content, but also for the way the all-consuming project took over director Andrew Getty’s life.

Now, years after work started on the billionaire heir to the Getty family fortune’s first and last feature film and two years after his tragic death, this twisted tale can finally be seen in all its glory as Screenbound Pictures unveils the feature for its UK premiere on UK Disc, this September.

This mind-bending shocker stars Frederick Koehler (Criminal Minds), award-winning actor Sean Patrick Flanery (The Boondock Saints), horror veteran Michael Berryman (The Hills Have Eyes) alongside Brianna Brown (40 Year Old Virgin) and Dina Meyer (Starship Troopers).

Dennis Peterson (Koehler) is a mentally handicapped teen who lives with his older brother John (Flanery). While John’s time is taken up with his increasingly demanding girlfriend Lydia (Meyer), Dennis turns to his reflection in an antique mirror for company. But the demonic entity (Berryman) orders him to do horrific things in order to ‘fix’ his brain. As Dennis embarks on a murderous rampage, the bodies start to pile up in the basement, who will be next?

This sadistic saga will take you to a wild world of weirdness and beyond.

The Evil Within arrives in the UK on DVD & Blu-ray 4th September.

Sci-fi thriller "1" begins principal photography

A new sci-fi thriller starring rising young star Dan Ewing begins filming in Australia this week.

“1” from Truant Productions, will tell of the last man on Earth as he undertakes a long, perilous journey in search of redemption while trying to stay one step ahead of a malevolent alien invasion.

The film, from writer-director Robert Braiden, will shoot in South East Queensland – which previously played host to fellow science-fiction films and series Terra Nova, The Chronicles of Narnia: The Voyage of the Dawn Treaderand Thor : Ragnarok.

Reckless car hooner Darren (Dan Ewing, TVs “Home & Away”) lives for the thrill of high-speed highway racing and burnouts. His life is going nowhere fast while his adoring girlfriend Misha dreams of them settling down and for Darren to do something more meaningful with his life. When Darren causes a car crash that injures Misha she decides to leave.

Now alone and guilt-ridden, Darren is forced to confront his behaviour until the arrival of an alien invasion throws his life into chaos as humanity is quickly wiped out. His love for Misha compels him to begin a long and dangerous journey to find her, and along the way he must survive alone in the wild, battle his guilt, and stay one step ahead of the alien ships that relentlessly search for him.

Says writer-producer-EP Robert Braiden : “‘1’ is unique in that it truly shows the very last person on earth – literally no one else is left. Films such as ‘The Quiet Earth’, ‘I Am Legend’, ‘The World The Flesh and The Devil’ all hint that they are last-person-on-earth films, yet all end up introducing other characters. ‘1’ is different. From the action and dangerous excitement of high-speed racing to the quiet and solitude of the natural world, ‘1’ will be a profoundly moving and powerful look at life, love, destiny and being able to let go of the material world in order to find new truths.”

Adds producer Tristan Barr, “‘1’ is set to be the most original, exciting and even groundbreaking independent science-fiction feature film ever produced in Australia. A big-screen film that not only will showcase some of the most stunning scenery here, it will also move and inspire audiences with its universal story of love and forgiveness.”

Damien Lipp, director of photography, was the first producer down under to shoot a full-length feature film, Watch the Sunset, in one single take, across the span of 9 different location and a running time of 82 minutes. Watch the Sunset, which Lipp co-directed with Michael Gosden, is currently playing festivals in Australia and is due out in the US next year.

Production on “1” begins this week in South-East Queensland, with a release expected in 2018.

EAT LOCALS – Premiering at FrightFest 2017

The Movie Partnership are pleased to announce that their star-studded Horror/Comedy "Eat Locals", will be having its UK Premiere at this year’s FrightFest at The Prince Charles Cinema on 26th August.

This will be the Directorial Debut for acclaimed actor, Jason Flemyng (Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels, Snatch, X-Men: First Class), who unleashes an action-packed and darkly comic thriller of supernatural proportions.

In a quiet country farmhouse, Britain's vampires gather. They come together once every 50 years to discuss territories, disputes, threats and food stocks, and the approval of new members. On this night, a new face will be meeting them for the first time, and – if the vote is unanimous – could be the latest member to join their fanged ranks.

This new face, however – local lad Sebastian Crockett – merely thinks he's on a promise with sexy cougar Vanessa.

Unluckily for all, Sebastian's not the only guest who'll be dropping in tonight. A detachment of Special Forces vampire killers led by Colonel Bingham has tracked the coven to this remote location, although they've bitten off far more than they can chew: they expected one vampire, not an entire coven.

With barely a handful of men ill-equipped to take down such a bloodthirsty clan, Bingham must keep the vampires pinned down while the fractious coven must put their own differences aside if they're to escape before dawn.

For Sebastian, the soldiers and the coven, it may not only be the worst night of their lives. It may be their last.

Effortlessly blending gut-busting laughs with blood-spattered shocks, "Eat Locals" is Assault On Precinct 13 meets Interview With A Vampire in the story of a coven of bloodsuckers whose bark is almost as bad as their bite.

The film boasts a whole host of acting talent including Charlie Cox (Stardust, Daredevil), Freema Agyeman (Dr. Who, Sense 8), Mackenzie Crook (Pirates Of The Caribbean, Game of Thrones), Tony Curran (Underworld: Evolution, League Of Extraordinary Gentlemen), Eve Myles (Torchwood), Ruth Jones (Gavin & Stacey, Stella), Annette Crosbie (One Foot In The Grave, Into The Woods) and Vincent Regan (300, Snow White & The Huntsman, Clash Of The Titans).

Flemyng also reunites the cast of Guy Ritchie’s crime comedy Lock, Stock & Two Smoking Barrels, with Nick Moran and Dexter Fletcher both starring and Jason Statham directing the fight scenes.

EAT LOCALS will have its UK Premiere at FrightFest 2017 on 26th August, and will be in Selected Cinemas and PVOD from 1st September (iTunes & Sky Store, Google Play, Amazon Instant Video & Xbox Video Store & VOD/DVD from 30th October
