Lionsgate have just revealed the artwork for their forthcoming release of "Pride Prejudice and Zombies" to UK BD and DVD announced what special features will be included on the discs.
A fresh twist on Jane Austen's widely celebrated novel, when a mysterious plague falls upon 19th century England, the land is overrun with the undead, but our feisty heroine Elizabeth Bennet (Lily James) is a master of martial arts and weaponry.
Casting aside personal and social prejudices, Elizabeth and Mr. Darcy (Sam Riley) must unite on the blood-soaked battlefield to rid the country of the zombie menace and discover their true love for one another.
Based on the book by Seth Grahame-Smith (and Jane Austen, of course), it’s one of greatest premises in movie history: Will Elizabeth and Mr. Darcy still find love? Or will be too busy chopping down an army of the undead for romance?
Starring Lily James (Wrath of the Titans), Sam Riley (Maleficent), Suki Waterhouse (Insurgent), Lena Headey (TV’s Game of Thrones, Dredd) Charles Dance (TV’s Game of Thrones, Underworld : Awakening), Matt Smith (TV’s Doctor Who, Terminator Genisys) Douglas Booth (Jupiter Ascending), Sally Phillips (Bridget Jones’s Diary) and Jack Huston (Ben-Hur, American Hustle). "Pride and Prejudice and Zombies" is the literary-monster mash-up you’ve been
waiting to feast on!
