Pulp Horror Novel TICK TOWN - Coming to Kindle and Paperback

Author Christopher Micklos and publisher Castle Bridge Media today released the cover art for Micklos’ upcoming debut novel TICK TOWN.

“When I sat down to write my debut novel, TICK TOWN, I was inspired by the gonzo pulp horror paperbacks of the 1970's and 1980's, as well as the classic creature feature sci-fi movies of the 1950's and 1960's,” Micklos said today. “So when I sat down with my publisher, Castle Bridge Media, to work on the cover art, I wanted something that would evoke those classic covers and posters I love.”

The cover was designed by In Churl Yo of Castle Bridge Media.

In
TICK TOWN, small town Tomahawk Hollow has a huge problem. Slaughtered livestock. Disappearing townsfolk. And something in the woods hungry for blood. When a young reporter and her boss investigate, they discover a band of giant mutant ticks have made the rural Wisconsin tourist town their feeding ground.

Now, with the annual Harvest Moon Jubilee about to begin, Emmaline and Jackson must race to find the queen tick and her nest before a massive clutch of monster eggs hatch…and thousands more terrifying ticks are unleashed into the world!

Christopher Micklos is a life-long horror junkie, an award-winning filmmaker, and a frequently published writer of horror-themed fiction and non-fiction. His two feature films, THE NURSERY and THE HEADMISTRESS, are widely available streaming and on DVD; and his writing has appeared in numerous national outlets, including Rue Morgue Magazine, Sci-Fi Lampoon Magazine, and many others.

TICK TOWN will be released in Kindle and paperback on June 24, 2025. It is now available for pre-order on Amazon

M3GAN 2.0 - In UK Cinemas, June

The murderous doll who captivated pop culture in 2023 is back. And this time she’s not alone. The original creative team behind that phenomenon—led by horror titans James Wan for Atomic Monster,Jason Blum for Blumhouse and director Gerard Johnstone— reboot an all-new wild chapter in A.I. mayhem with M3GAN 2.0.

Two years after M3GAN, a marvel of artificial intelligence, went rogue and embarked on a murderous (and impeccably choreographed) rampage and was subsequently destroyed, M3GAN’s creator Gemma (Allison Williams) has become a high-profile author and advocate for government oversight of A.I. Meanwhile, Gemma’s niece Cady (Violet McGraw), now 14, has become a teenager, rebelling against Gemma’s overprotective rules.

Unbeknownst to them, the underlying tech for M3GAN has been stolen and misused by a powerful defense contractor to create a military-grade weapon known as Amelia (Ivanna Sakhno - Ahsoka, Pacific Rim: Uprising), the ultimate killer infiltration spy. But as Amelia’s self-awareness increases, she becomes decidedly less interested in taking orders from humans. Or in keeping them around.

With the future of human existence on the line, Gemma realizes that the only option is to resurrect M3GAN (Amie Donald, voiced by Jenna Davis) and give her a few upgrades, making her faster, stronger, and more lethal. As their paths collide, the original A.I bitch is about to meet her match.

Directed by acclaimed returning filmmaker Gerard Johnstone, the film co-stars returning cast members Brian Jordan Alvarez and Jen Van Epps as Gemma’s loyal tech teammates, Cole and Tess, and new characters played by Aristotle Athari (Saturday Night Live, Hacks), Timm Sharp (Apples Never Fall, Percy Jackson and the Olympians) and Grammy winner and 11-time Emmy nominee Jemaine Clement (Avatar: The Way of Water, What We Do in the Shadows).

Produced by James Wan, Jason Blum and Allison Williams, the film is executive produced by Gerard Johnstone, Adam Hendricks, Greg Gilreath, Michael Clear, Judson Scott and Mark D. Katchur.

The first M3GAN film shattered box office records, opening to $30.4 million domestically to become the biggest opening weekend for a PG-13 horror film since A Quiet Place Part II. The film went on to gross more than $180 million worldwide.

M3GAN 2.0 is released to UK Cinemas June 27th.

From Alex Proyas, visionary director of The Crow, comes DARK CITY, a mind-bending science fiction thriller set in a shadowy world where the sun never rises and nothing is quite what it seems.

John Murdoch (Rufus Sewell) wakes in a hotel bathtub with no memory of who he is or how he got there, but there’s a body on the floor with bloody spirals carved into the flesh and a voice on the phone that tells him to flee.

Soon Murdoch is on the run, wanted by the police, a woman who claims to be his wife and a group of mysterious pale men who seem to control everyone and everything in the city... except him.

With a cast that includes Kiefer Sutherland (The Lost Boys), William Hurt (A History of Violence), Jennifer Connelly (Phenomena) and Richard O’Brien (The Rocky Horror Picture Show), and a script by Proyas, Lem Dobbs (Kafka) and David S. Dario Argento's FOUR FLIES ON GREY VELVET - On 4K UHD and BD from Shameless, April

Celebrated rock musician Roberto Tobias (Michael Brandon) is thrust into a nightmare. Framed for a brutal stabbing, he soon finds himself ensnared in a web of senseless murders. The only clue to the deranged killer lies in a cryptic image captured on a victim’s retina. Roberto’s desperate search for truth will push him to the brink of madness, culminating in a shocking climax.

Introspection becomes art in Argento’s hands, making FOUR FLIES ON GREY VELVET essential viewing for anyone seeking a glimpse into the director’s psyche. It concludes Argento’s iconic ‘Animal Trilogy’, paving the way for Suspiria and his later expressionistic masterpieces that earned him the title ‘Master of Horror.’

Dario Argento describes the film as a deeply personal exploration of his inner turmoil: “I decided to let loose, go crazy, and unleash all my creativity and personal nightmares. Psychoanalysis plays a major role in the film because it’s partly autobiographical – rather Freudian, in fact.”  Both Argento and lead actor Michael Brandon, in exclusive interviews for this edition, reveal how the director found his alter ego in Brandon, channelling his own paranoia to create an unsettling psychological thriller.

This 4K UHD HDR edition with Dolby Vision is encoded from the 4K restoration of original camera and sound materials (supervised by Argento’s DOP Luciano Tovoli), finally presenting the director’s vision as he wishes it to be experienced - and preferably in a completely dark room.
