Cult classic horror franchise THE GINGER SNAPS TRILOGY - Standard Edition Blu-ray

GINGER SNAPS is a landmark in cult horror and now the seminal movie is set for a highly anticipated Blu-ray release from Second Sight Films. Helmed by John Fawcett (Orphan Black, Saving Hope), the cult classic offers a fresh take on the werewolf and coming-of-age genre, with heaps of gore and a lot of heart.

All three films are now set for release as THE GINGER SNAPS TRILOGY - Standard Edition Blu-ray, on 25 May 2026 from Second Sight Films.

The first feature is set in the suburban Canadian town of Bailey Downs, where a series of dog killings piques the interest of a pair of outcast teens; sisters Brigitte (Emily Perkins – Supernatural) and Ginger (Katharine Isabelle – Freddy v Jason) Fitzgerald. Then on the night of Ginger's first period, she is savagely attacked by a wild creature but even though her injuries miraculously heal, she’s left with a newfound desire to devour…

Brigitte must find a way to save her sister from her werewolf ways and with only 28 days to do so, can she stop the creature her sister has become in its tracks, or will they both succumb to the animalistic instincts?

GINGER SNAPS 2: UNLEASHED, sees Brigitte wrestling with her own transformation, as she is forcefully put into rehab and must identify friend from foe, all the while battling a male werewolf who’s stalking her. Tatiana Maslany (She-Hulk: Attorney at Law, Orphan Black) and Eric Johnson (Smallville, Fifty Shades Darker) also star.

GINGER SNAPS BACK: THE BEGINNING, from director Grant Harvey, depicts the ancestors of Brigitte and Ginger Fitzgerald in 19th century Canada. They must battle villagers and werewolves alike as accusations and attacks come at them from all sides. Can they make it out alive or will they yield to a lycanthropic life?

The Horror Collective Acquires Canadian Horror FRESH MEAT for Cannes Launch

The Horror Collective has picked up worldwide rights to FRESH MEAT, the Canadian horror film from writer/director Daniel Turres, with Studio Dome set to launch international sales at the Cannes Film Market.

The 2025 feature follows internet influencers who venture into an abandoned prison to create content, inadvertently unleashing a ravenous inmate. The group finds themselves trapped and fighting for survival while capturing their terrifying ordeal.

Turres directed from his own script and produced alongside Christian Turres and Executive Producers Sheila Warren and David Carruthers through Fresh Meat Films inc. The cast includes Joelle Farrow, Mika Amonsen, Tyson Wong, Hannah Galway, Jorja Cadence, Alex Sands and Douglas Vermeeren.

The film targets the social media horror subgenre that has gained traction with genre audiences. The Horror Collective continues to expand its slate of independent horror titles for theatrical and streaming release.

Recently showcased at the Blood in the Snow Film Festival, FRESH MEAT took home Best Special Effects by The Butchershop FX Studio.

“This is easily our most wide-ranging program yet,” said Kelly Michael Stewart, Festival Director and Founder. “Fresh Meat is by far the most violent film we’ve ever played.”

“Fresh Meat taps into our current obsession with content creation and asks what happens when the pursuit of viral fame becomes a matter of life and death. The abandoned prison setting creates this claustrophobic nightmare where escape feels impossible.” says Daniel Turres.

“Fresh Meat fits perfectly with The Horror Collective's mission to bring fresh voices in horror to audiences worldwide. Daniel has crafted a film that speaks to our social media age while delivering the scares genre fans expect.” says David Josh Lawrence, Acquisitions, Studio Dome.

The Horror Collective, the genre label of Studio Dome, is a home for bold, commercial, filmmaker-driven horror. Known for championing fresh, high-concept genre films, The Horror Collective has produced and released standout titles including the killer-pants cult favorite SLAXX, a Shudder Original, and

FilmThreat’s AwardThis winner, THE DEATH OF SNOW WHITE. With the recently launched streaming service BloodStream, the label continues its mission to deliver distinctive, audience-ready horror built for genre fans hungry for smart concepts, unforgettable scares, and the next cult hit.

Try your luck on 13 SOULS if you dare for a truly terrifying new possession horror, from award-winning writer-director Paulo Nascimento (A Oeste do Fim do Mundo). Get ready to feel the fear as this disturbing paranormal chiller is set to make its digital debut on 25 May 2026, courtesy of Seven Tales.

In the 1970s, 13 people died in a devastating apartment block fire. Burnt beyond all recognition, the unidentified victims were buried side by side in a New Jersey cemetery.

Years later, 15-year-old Agne (Sienna Belle – Game Crashers, The Taxidermist) is found roaming around her apartment while her mother’s lifeless body decomposes next to her. Her estranged father, Ariel (Tim Shelburne – Mind Over Murder, Here Love Lies), and older sister, Nina (Brielle Tucker) – who haven’t seen Agne since she was kidnapped by her mother 10 years before – come to take the traumatised teen home with them. As she adjusts to family life, mysterious, supernatural occurrences start to plague the household.

When Ariel returns to his job as a cemetery caretaker, Agne develops a fascination with the graveyard, and finds herself inexplicably drawn to the 13 unmarked tombs of those who perished in the fateful fire. Possessed by a dark spirit, Agne begins a reign of terror over her family, setting her sights on destroying Nina’s innocent soul.

Desperate to save both his daughters, Ariel seeks the advice of an unorthodox priest who harbours his own connection to the inferno. But with his spiritual guidance, will it be enough to save the girls, or does Agne’s soul already belong to the Devil?

Say your prayers for 13 SOULS, a hair-raisingly haunting horror that will have you possessed.

Dystopian sci-fi thrill-ride WOKEN - on UK Digital 25 May

Get ready for a fear-inducing new awakening as the critically acclaimed twisted dystopian nightmare WOKEN arrives on UK Digital on 25 May, thanks to 101 Films.

Fresh from her brilliant turn in 28 Years Later: The Bone Temple, one-to-watch star Erin Kellyman takes the lead in a powerful performance as a pregnant woman who must unravel a sinister scheme to save humanity from the brink of annihilation. She is joined by one of Britain’s best loved actors, the acclaimed Maxine Peake, in this claustrophobic and tense genre-bending chiller from writer-director Alan Friel in his feature debut.

After an accident, Anna (Kellyman) wakes up on a remote island with no memory of who she is, where she is or the baby she is carrying. Unfamiliar faces gather around her bedside, including husband James (Jeremiah) and neighbours Helen (Peake) and Peter (Invernizzi), who attempt to fill in the blanks of her fractured mind.

But all is not what it seems and when the strong-willed mother-to-be embarks on her own quest for the truth, she makes a devastating discovery… a pandemic has ravaged most of mankind. Though the truth is out, Anna can’t escape the foreboding feeling that there’s even darker secrets simmering under the surface and, as her paranoia heightens, she senses that the real danger is much closer to home.

Blurring the line between saviour and captor, what starts off as an unnerving tale of paranoia and isolation quickly descends into a pulse-pounding, post-apocalyptic story of survival as Anna’s fragmented mind attempts to piece together her past in time to save her future.

Open your eyes to WOKEN for an edge-of-seat sci-fi thrill-ride, full of unexpected twists and turns that will have you second guessing who can truly be trusted.
