Erin Brown stars in VIDEO VIXEN - Exclusively on BloodStream, May

BloodStream, the horror, thriller, and sci-fi streaming platform built by genre fans and creators, will exclusively premiere VIDEO VIXEN, the provocative new slasher from Erin Brown and Victor Bonacore, on May 1, 2026. Studio Dome has acquired exclusive rights to the film, with a wider streaming rollout to follow after August 1, 2026.

A bold collision of erotic underground cinema and contemporary influencer culture, VIDEO VIXEN marks a major return for Brown, the iconic horror performer known to audiences worldwide as Misty Mundae. With hundreds of credits spanning cult, erotic, and mainstream horror since the late 1990s, Brown now steps fully into her role as a filmmaker, producing and starring in one of her most confrontational works to date.

In VIDEO VIXEN, Brown plays Kitty Video, an online performer who, alongside her partner Cam, produces staged “snuff-style” fetish content for a loyal online audience. Their work thrives on illusion. But when their quiet town of Silver Springs is overrun by attention-hungry influencers chasing viral fame, Kitty decides illusion is no longer enough. As the holiday season descends, performance turns to obsession. The violence escalates. The camera never stops rolling.

What begins as manufactured depravity becomes something far more dangerous as Kitty blurs the boundary between fiction and reality, spectacle and truth. And as the body count rises, one question lingers: when everything is content, does anyone care if it’s real?

Co-producer and lead actress Erin Brown says she is "Intoxicated by the notion of our movies being injected into the BloodStream. I hope it's contagious". Director Victor Bonacore adds, "Ecstatic to have my streaming cherry popped with BloodStream, it's an honor to be chosen by one of the new platforms of indie horror and beyond. My films have never streamed before, and this has been the perfect place to land".

BloodStream Acquisitions and Programming Curator Heidi Honeycutt says, "I have been a fan of Erin Brown for as long as I can remember. She’s directed and produced her own films throughout the years, and she has a stunningly original, raw voice. I am so excited that she is a creative force behind her new films and is making the kind of horror she wants to see. I’m absolutely honored that BloodStream is releasing this film".

Launched in late 2025, BloodStream was created as a dedicated home for genre storytelling, bringing together cult classics, international discoveries, festival favorites, and bold independent voices in one curated destination. The platform now features a rapidly expanding library of more than 2,000 titles, available through both free ad-supported and ad-free subscription tiers across major devices and browsers.

Erik Skjoldbjærg's INSOMNIA starring Stellan Skarsgard - Limited Edition 4K UHD/Blu-ray release

Hailed as ‘one of the best Nordic Noirs’ (Collider), Erik Skjoldbjærg's (Narvik, Pioneer) sun-drenched directorial debut INSOMNIA, starring recent Academy Award nominee Stellan Skarsgard (Sentimental Value, Mamma Mia, Good Will Hunting), receives an eye-opening new 4K UHD/Blu-ray Limited Edition release set to arrive on 25 May 2026, courtesy of Second Sight Films.

As ‘Norwegian film is entering a new era’ (Guardian), Second Sight Films reawakens this brooding and atmospheric ‘90s chiller that not only kicked off a wave of renowned Nordic Noir films but also paved the way for Christopher Nolan’s 2002 remake.

The new Limited Edition Box Set will have fans up all night with a slew of special features including new interviews with the filmmakers, short films from director Erik Skjoldbjærg, a 120-page book with new essays and much more.

When 17-year-old Tanja Lorentzen is found murdered in the Northern Nordic city of Tromsø, two Kripos police officers are called in to investigate: Jonas Engstrom (Skarsgard) – a disgraced former Swedish police officer who moved to Norway following an inappropriate relationship with a witness – and his partner Erik Vik (Sverre Anker Ousdal – Blodsband, Familjen).

With a cold, cunning and calculated killer on the loose, the officers attempt an arrest, but it goes terribly wrong when the suspect escapes and Jonas mistakenly shoots Erik, later pinning his death on the fugitive.

Haunted by guilt and repressed by the relentless glare of the Arctic Circle’s midnight sun, a destabilised Jonas gets caught up in a game of cat-and-mouse with the killer and as his insomnia worsens, so does his grip on reality.

Examining the fine line between cop and criminal, Insomnia is a gripping descent into the darkness of a person’s psyche set against Norway’s luminescent icy backdrop. ‘As close to perfection as a thriller can get. Tightly wound and psychologically dense’ Collider

Terrifying horror classic THE DESCENT - UK 4K UHD Debut, June

Pathe and Studiocanal present Neil Marshall’s genuinely scary smash hit chiller THE DESCENT - starring Shauna Macdonald, Natalie Mendoza and Alex Reid. The film makes its UK UHD debut on 29th June, with a brand new 4K restoration, in a 3-disc SteelBook, featuring commentaries, the alternate ending, a host of featurettes and a poster.

This bona fide British horror classic, written and directed by Neil Marshall (following up his werewolf film Dog Soldiers), is a nerve-shredding thrill ride featuring a group of all-female cavers encountering some very nasty beasties indeed. Shauna Macdonald (Shetland) is outstanding as a woman who goes on a caving trip to try and confront a debilitating trauma - and finds herself tested beyond endurance.

Empire calls it “brutal, bloody, terrifying, astonishing”, while none other than Jeremy Clarkson described it as “the scariest film ever made”. With nods to horror masterworks The Texas Chain Saw Massacre, The Thing and Alien, and able to sit proudly alongside them, THE DESCENT features a superb cast, brilliantly creepy sets, nasty cave dwelling ‘crawlers’ to haunt your dreams, and features some of the most intense and unbearable set pieces put on film, not to mention the jump scare to end all jump scares. It’s a genuine white-knuckle horror experience, right up to the last blood-drenched frame, and now you can experience it in 4K - meaning four times the terror!

SYNOPSIS: During a caving expedition in the Appalachian Mountains, six women are trapped by a rockfall. Searching the labyrinthian tunnels for a way out, they find themselves hunted by a race of fearless, ravenous predators as their adventure quickly descends into primal chaos and madness.

Set to bring a fresh dose of supernatural mayhem to the West End, David Fynn’s varied and diverse credits include Theatre: Dewey Finn in School of Rock (Really Useful Group / New London Theatre, West End); Tony Lumpkin in She Stoops to Conquer (National Theatre); William Barfée in The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee (Donmar Warehouse); Dromio of Ephesus in Comedy of Errors (Washington Shakespeare Company); Dogberry in Much Ado About Nothing (National Theatre); Sweets in Mojo (RSC); Ray in After the Party (Criterion, West End).

Television includes: Derek in Daddy Issues (Fudge Park Productions / BBC Three); Seth McGovern in Lazarus (Quay Street Productions / Amazon Prime Video); Ross in Belgravia: The Next Chapter (Carnival Film & TV / ITV); Alex in Am I Being Unreasonable? (Lookout Point / BBC One); Jonathan Hill in The Pembrokeshire Murders (World Productions / ITV); Dave Leigh in The Thief, His Wife and the Canoe (Story Films / ITV); Judd in Avenue 5 Series II (HBO); Jos Sedley in Vanity Fair (ITV / Amazon); Brett in Undateable Series 1–3 (Warner Bros / NBC); Wolfie in The Inbetweeners (Bwark Productions).

Film includes: Leo in Here (Sony); Kent in The Mauritanian (Wonder Street); Sam in I'd Like to Be Alone Now (Different Duck Films); Justin in Deviation (Silver Leaf Pictures); Agent in Leap Year (Spyglass Entertainment).

Fynn brings an electrifyingly devilish presence to the mischievous and irreverent character made famous on screen and stage. This new West End production promises to deliver the same offbeat humour, heartfelt moments and dazzling spectacle that has made Beetlejuice a global phenomenon.

Following three smash hit Broadway hauntings, Beetlejuice crosses the pond this year, making its West End debut at London’s Prince Edward Theatre, a Delfont Mackintosh Theatre, where it plays a strictly limited run from Wednesday 20 May, 2026 – Saturday 17 April, 2027.

Based on Tim Burton’s beloved movie classic, this wildly funny - and weirdly life-affirming – musical tells the tale of Lydia Deetz, a strange and unusual teenager sharing her home with a pair of newly-deads and the demonic ghost-with-the-most,  Beetlejuice. He’s dead trouble, but if you really want to feel alive, just say his name three times…

With a gleefully irreverent book, head-spinning set design and a score that’s out of this Netherworld, Beetlejuice is a ‘feast for the eyes and soul’ (Entertainment Weekly). Outrageous, but with a big (cold) heart, this is ‘screamingly good fun!’ (Variety) that’ll make you want to live - and make the most of every Day-O!

The West End production resurrects its otherworldly Broadway creative team, featuring a Book by Scott Brown and Anthony King with Music and Lyrics by Eddie Perfect and will be directed by Tony Award winner Alex Timbers (Moulin Rouge! The Musical).

Based on the 1988 Academy Award-winning cult Geffen Company motion picture presented by Warner Bros., Beetlejuice, with Story by Michael McDowell and Larry Wilson. The hit comedy was directed by Tim Burton and starred Michael Keaton, Alec Baldwin, Geena Davis, Jeffrey Jones, Catherine O’Hara, and Winona Ryder.

BEETLEJUICE: THE MUSICAL opened on Broadway at the Winter Garden Theatre in 2019 and again at the Marquis Theatre in 2022 - following the COVID-19 shutdown - playing 679 combined performances. The first national US tour just concluded an 88-city tour with a final Broadway resurrection having taken place at the Palace Theatre, last year.  Beetlejuice: The Musical has played internationally in Tokyo, Seoul and Melbourne and Abu Dhabi.

BEETLEJUICE: THE MUSICAL is produced in the UK by Crossroads Live and Warner Bros. Theatre Ventures.
